Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. If you have been following my blog, I thank you wholeheartedly. I now regret to inform you that I need to slightly inconvenience you by asking that you now refer to HERE to read my blog entries. I will no longer be writing much in this blog. There is no real reason why I have changed blogs, it is just one of my many whims. Mainly, it is because Windows Spaces looks nice and works better in Windows Live Writer.

I will still come regularly to check the chat box, and even if I don't reply, I DO read them, so feel free to say anything you want, like things I should talk about, or things I shouldn't talk about. Stuff like that.

Thank You, and I apologize again for this minor inconvenience.

***For your general information, the word "HERE" is a hyperlink. ***

Well...  I returned home at about 10 pm. The car show had some nice cars, but nothing seriously outstanding. No Zondas, Maseratis, or whatever... The girls were kind of stupid looking, with their ugly outfits and fake behaviour. There was loud music, but that was to be expected, since it's a beng kind of thing. The music of choice was, of course, trance. Horrible and repetitive, especially with the extremely loud bass.

Super Import Nights was, truly, a great disappointment.

I will be going to the Super Import Nights at Singapore Expo later, and I am meeting four of my friends. I hope the cars there will be good, since the girls don't look good, judging from the website. They look like ghosts, probably because of their 10 cm thick layer of makeup.

Ah well, I may report more on the car show tonight, with some pictures, if there are anything worth taking.

Well. Obviously, I just came back from a chalet with my family, and it was quite fun. We didn't really do much, but it was a good way to de-stress, with all the slacking and all. We went to the SAF Yacht Club, where my father is a member. The place is really nice and peaceful, with a nice sea view, although mostly we are looking at some patch of land quite a distance away (Indonesia, I think). The food there is great, and the atmosphere is nice. What more could you want. Heh. It was a 2 days 3 nights thing.

If you had noticed, I removed the "Song Of The Week" section, because Imeem was being annoying, by not allowing me to play the full song on this blog. I'm only playing the song, not letting people download it. What's so bad about that? I'm not infringing any copyrights. Hmm... I'm bringing publicity to the song, which is a good thing for the artistes. Stupid people.

Oh yes.. Just to vent : MY PAY IS NOT IN YET!!! AFTER MORE THAN 2 MONTHS!!!

I have reformatted my computer, since Vista lagged it too much. I installed my old copy of Windows XP, and after looking at Vista for so long, it looks kind of ugly, but it seems to respond faster.

I am typing this entry using Windows Live Writer, which I have tried once, and only once, and have not used ever since, due to the fact that I didn't have a competent computer at the time. I don't know how this will turn out, but if it comes out nicely, I might use it more often, since I don't have to worry about losing my internet connection for whatever reason, be it router failure, or whatever.

Also, I can see exactly how my post will turn out, at least I think so. This is good, since I often go back and edit my posts, because some of the words look weird against the background, or the words are in a conflicting color.

Well, I know I have said this already, but today is the first day of my school holiday, and I think it's a well deserved rest, since I only had like one week of holiday the last time, due to the WSS thing.

One more thing. Apparently, it seems that I have additional fonts to use when using Windows Live Writer. Nice.

WOOO! No more WAD!!!

... Please excuse me while I go burn the books. ...

Ok. I have successfully eradicated that disgusting and utterly revolting curse from my life. I hope that when the new term starts, the topics I will be learning, namely CCNA 3, which I have already done, and System Administration, which I have done halfway, will be taught by good teachers. That would make my life a lot easier.

Well, now I have a holiday till my birthday, which falls on October 7th. Good. I like holidays, especially long ones where I don't have to see any tremendously stupid, and possibly partially brain-dead people. People who have read my earlier posts should know who I mean.

Hmm... What else to say... I failed to see any particularly cute girls today, even on the ride to my Mom's office. That sucks. Nothing to keep me occupied during the long ride, which would have been shortened, had one of my friends owned a
CAR.

p.s : Check out the letters in red, they are there for a reason.

Tomorrow is the Final Examination for WAD. I need to do well in it, if I want to go on to Nanyang Polytechnic. That sucks. Why must they give me such a stupid topic just before my chance to go to Poly? Damn unlucky. Anyways, I WILL do well tomorrow, since I have done well for any other test without studying. I studied for this one, so one would think I would do better than any other test. If I do badly, then we can safely conclude that studying is bad for one's exam. :D

As the exams are next week, I have this week and most of next week off from school. This week is supposed to be the study week, and next week is the exam week, and I have only one paper on Thursday.

Damn.. The time is 5.29AM, I am hungry, and I can't sleep although I feel tired. Why is that I wonder? Well... The hungry feeling is because I didn't eat dinner, and my last meal was at about 4.45pm. And that was a packet of instant noodles. I should have eaten dinner. Never mind, I shall go buy a $2 meal from Mac's later.

I was planning to build a new computer, but after much thought, I have decided against it. One of the major reasons is that I will have no more money after building it, which is definitely a minus. Also, when I build the computer, the person who is going to use it most of the time isn't me. It's my annoying little brother. That sucks. I didn't buy the computer for him to use.

Ah, well.. I'll wait till I have more money, then I'll buy it. I'll use my current money to upgrade my notebook. Currently, it has 1.5GB of RAM. I want to upgrade it to 2GB, and buy a new SD card. Those things are cheap nowadays. Of course, I can't just buy a 512MB RAM, since the Vostro only has 2 slots, and none are available. I have to replace the 512MB one with a 1GB piece. For some wierd reason, the Vostro only supports a maximum of 2GB of RAM. Never mind. In total, those things are going to cost me like $50. Not too bad.

It's Monday again, and I hate it. I hate Mondays because my whole day is filled with Web Application Development class. It's not that the class is bad, but rather that imbecilic fool of a teacher, but I stray from the topic, since I doubt anyone would want to hear about a talking lump of overgrown chicken shit.

Anyways, now that Monday is over, I have three more days to go to the weekends, since I don't have classes on Fridays. On Tuesdays, I have WAD in the morning, and Customer Service in the afternoon. CSV is quite a fun class, and I look forward to it every week. On Wednesdays, I have Sports and Wellness in the morning, and WAD in the afternoon. For some weird reason, Thursday's timetable is exactly the same as Tuesday. A bit of laziness on the planner's part, I should think.

There was a test today, and since that pathetic excuse for a teacher didn't go through most of the topics, we wanted to postpone the test. The was no postponement, but another teacher came in to teach us what we had missed. As such, the test started at about 3.00 pm, and ended at about 5.30. Well.. That sucked. I think I'll do quite well anyways, since the other teacher went through what we had missed.

Also, I had breakfast in the morning with two of my friends. They were both late. One doesn't take public transport that often, so I can't blame him for not knowing the timings, but the other one takes public transport every day, and yet he decided to come late. People nowadays...

Well, only one assignment, one theory test and one major exam to go... I hope all of them will be easy. I hate it when I have to do difficult and boring subjects.

I didn't go to school today. It's tiring. Especially when you have a crappy teacher which I try not to include in almost every blog entry I make, but somehow he always comes up. I think I've been traumatised by him. This kind of teacher is bad for students. Academically and mentally. Anyways, I don't want to talk about that lumbering buffoon anymore.

I reformatted my computer today, since I had nothing much to do. It was getting really slow and annoying. The thing with having a Windows OS is that stuff gets piled up. The installing/uninstalling of applications tends to corrupt the OS, and all the DLL files installed will never go away, making the DLL Library a scary place when the computer is trying to find the files needed to run a particular program. Then comes the defragging of the HDD. The time taken to defrag one of these can be better used to reinstall Windows, INCLUDING the re-copying of the files. This basically means I can have a working Windows XP in 45 - 60 minutes. Well..

Heh..

For some reason, I can't sleep. Might be because I'm not tired, but I doubt that's the answer. I feel like shit. Not soft and squishy like shit, but I feel bad, horrible, even. I don't know why. My eyes hurt for no reason, and I need to go to school early tomorrow, since there's a test to do.

Damn. Now there's a stupid song playing, and I don't know why I don't change it. I shall not name the song for fear of insulting others.

***I need to try to sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Slee....***

Well.

It seems they screwed up. Again. In the Games, we came in second for that game. That isn't a bad thing, unless you take into account the fact that our players are from OVERSEAS. That makes it a OVERSEAS vs. OVERSEAS final, not a US vs. OVERSEAS final, like it should be. I can tell you the reason why we lost. The reason is very simple, and will come to you if you think hard enough.

We import these so-called 'athletes' from other countries. Why would they want to leave the country, and play for another country? Because they suck. They are rejects from that country, and when they come here, they will seem good because of the lack of talent in US. When they actually reach the Games, they will see that they are nothing special, compared to the first class athletes of the other countries.

I have changed some of the words, but if you live where I do, and you actually watch the propaganda channel, you would know what I mean. Obviously, I have changed the words so people can't go saying that I am 'causing trouble' and arrest me.

For some reason, I went crazy today, and downloaded a lot of browsers. I downloaded four, Safari, Flock, Maxthon and Firefox. I was using Opera previously. I guess I was bored.

Man.. I just registered for my Pre-NS Medical Checkup. I should be submitting it tonight with my friends, so we can go together.

I also downloaded Winamp, an alternative media player. It wasn't that I was sick of using Windows Media Player, it was more like I had nothing to do.

This is unfair. I have just started learning Entity Relationship Diagram and stuff two weeks ago, and I had to do a test on it last Wednesday. Thankfully, due to the wierd way my mind seems to work, I managed to figure out the entire thing during that two hours. Some of my friends were not so lucky. They didn't do as well as they would have liked. One, for example, didn't do anything, as he said the questions didn't make sense to him. As such, he just drew random things.

Again, I finally started learning SQL today, and I have a test next Wednesday. I also have a phase test on Monday, from the same subject. The phase test thing I'm not so worried about, since it covers HTML and JavaScript, both of which I'm fairly good at, but I simply HATE SQL. It's totally stupid. It's not interesting at all, and as I'm sure you realise, learning boring stuff means the stuff takes a long time to get in. I also have a sucky teacher, whose name is Amos, which is also kind of stupid, and he may as well not be there, since whenever we ask him questions, he offers one of two generic replies. The 'Ask your friend' reply, and if that does not work, he offers the alternative, the 'Check the internet' reply. What an idiot. Freaking AH.

I was watching the 2008 Beijing Olympics opening ceremony just now, and I have come to the conclusion that the people who suffer most are the cheerleaders. The ones who stand at the edges of the track where the different countries come out. They were dancing for more than two hours, the entire time taken for all the countries to show themselves. I must say, their stamina is very high.

I also realise that there are a lot of countries I do not know about. I can't remember them now, but I know that more than one third of the countries I do not know. Well...  That's interesting.

This is a test.

Well, I have just read something on the internet, about a guy who will be charged in Singapore for 'Insulting Singapore Judges'. I shall not state my opinion, because they are extremely touchy and overly sensitive, and no matter what I say, good or bad, can be twisted against me.

Anyways, you can read about it here : http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080805/tap-singapore-us-internet-politics-oppos-06f3cb7.html

Well

I had a JavaScript test today, and today will be the last time I get to do JavaScript. I will have to do SQL Database next. The JS test was easy, and it was quite a waste of time. The good thing is that I can do it any way I want, so long as the end product comes out well. Just for a challenge, I did the whole thing using only 'If Else' statements. Haha...

I'll be blunt. I hate SQL. I hate it because it's troublesome, and it's very stupid. It's tedious to implement, and it is named SQL, which kind of sounds like 'Squeal' when you pronounce all the letters. It doesn't help that I have a crappy teacher. His name is Amos Lim, and you can imagine what the other guys call him. He has a degree, and his head is very large. Also, he seems to not understand that just because you have a degree, it doesn't mean you can teach well. He will not listen to our suggestions to make the class more interesting. He seems to have a goal in life. To kill us with his boring lectures, and make sure we die slowly and painfully.

Well, after the test, we went for a break, and when we came back, we practically slacked for 3 hours. The teacher was here, but he wasn't teaching for some reason. So, we sat there and surfed the Stomp! site, which is a Singaporean forum kind of thing. We saw an article on something about a woman who was breast-feeding her child not being allowed into a cafe or something, I didn't read the article. It was interesting anyways, since it gives a whole new meaning to the sign which was located next to her, "No Outside Food & Drinks Allowed."

Hmm..

Today I didn't go to school. Neither did I send my sister to school. Luckily, Bean did it. For some strange reason, I couldn't get up in the morning. Anyways, now that I think of it, rather than have some pathetic teacher teach me JavaScript in school, I'll learn it myself at home. Which is much better, since I'll be able to cover more and with the infinite power of the internet, I can find the answer to anything.

Yesterday, my family went out to buy some formal clothing for my father. Only my brother didn't come. Apparently he was not feeling well. Anyways, we spent most of the day wandering around VivoCity, and about half that time in the VivoMart, which is actually a big Giant Store. Giant is a supermarket kind of place here in Singapore, where people can buy their groceries. We had dinner at Carl's Jr.,and my dad and I tried one of thoese Jelapeno things. It was a small, bright yellow thing. I'm not going to eat those things again. It's painful, and it makes my eyes tear like nobody's business. The pain, however, only lasts for a few minutes. I see no need to pplace myself in such painful situations. I rather eat a bucket of pickles that were there next to the Jelapenos. The pickles were nice. I put like 5 or 6 into my burger. I would have put more, but the container they had there only had room for about 6 pickles, and I was lazy to go get some more. If Carl's Jr. wasn't so expensive, I would go there more often.

I need a job. The reason for this is that my parents cannot afford to give me much, and even if they could, I don't want to ask them for too much. I don't want to appear to them as someone who keeps asking for money. I cannot get a job now, because my school takes up most of my day, and I need to study. I want to get a weekend job, but I cannot find a company that will hire me to work only on weekends. I have visited some places, and they do not want a weekend worker, as they have many. That sucks.

I also want a job which will rely on my computer skills. That would be the best, but working in a departmental store would be good too. This is kind of stupid.

Anyways, I went for dinner with my neighbor yesterday, and we went to the E-hub at Downtown East. We went to some Japanese Restaurant upstairs, and I had Ramen and some sushi. The sushi was kind of mediocre, but the Ramen was DELICIOUS!! I shall go there again. Ramen costs about 11 dollars, but it's really filling, and it tastes really good. The handmade noodles are top notch, and the meat that comes with it is thinly sliced, and somehow tastes divine. The soup is probably what makes it taste so good.
